World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The upgrade to an item is a kind of enchantment which increases the stats of certain armor or weapons. This includes secondary stats such as Leech or Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. This item can be found at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any kind of equipment and provide smaller bonuses compared to other components that are specific to the kind of equipment.
Leveling
The upgrade system lets players enhance their items by increasing their level. The item’s “guaranteed bonuses” are also enhanced with the increase in level. Every level upgrade grants bonuses based on the the tier and increases the stat by 3. These bonuses can range from a +1 up to +3 bonus, to random buffs or debuffs.
Each item can be upgraded for a specific number of times. After the upgrade, the item can be transferred into a higher-tiered item that is of equal or greater value.
This system is helpful for those who want to purchase equipment with a certain level of stats prior to acquiring the new item. The transfer system is very user-friendly and allows the player to save up on upgrades materials.
Upgrade materials are collected as players clear their content and are used to improve or replace an item. Every item requires a distinct kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction stones, while armor items require Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, these materials are changed in their names. For instance, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is crucial to upgrade item s to increase the performance of a character. However it is equally important to think about how much it will cost. The cost of upgrading an item could be a significant amount of gold that could be better spent on new gear. This is why it is recommended to upgrade only the most necessary items in any given circumstance.
This is essentially upgrading the weapon, then the legs, chest and the helm. If the player is able to afford it upgrading trinkets must be considered in this stage to increase their potential to trigger. For example, a high-end Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading for the more damage that its procs can bring. However, certain trinkets are not worth upgrading as long as they provide an important boost in a particular build. This is particularly true of some breakpoint gear that are used to calculate high-value stats such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is an action that lets players change the stats of a weapon rings, or armor depending on the type of item. It can be used to replace bonuses or to add new ones. It also alters the power base of the item.
While rerolling can be a good way to boost your power in the initial phases of the game, it’s not a mandatory part of the process. Once you hit your goal of upgrading to level 6 it’s best to go down and look for the most powerful upgrades you can, or save up for the next set of items. This will ensure that you have a robust collection of items when you reach your level 9 upgrade goal.
Rerolling is a system that is similar to the leveling up system. Reroll tokens can be used to remove a Level Up option from your item and swap it for another. However unlike Level Up, reroll tokens don’t reset the item’s level. This means that when you roll an upgraded item it will no longer be at the same level and won’t have its additional bonus.
In addition to rerolling, players may make use of a specific mechanic called Eliminate to delete any one Level Up option from their equipment or weapons. This is helpful if you’ve lost a gacha or you want to roll an item that has five stars. To accomplish this, you’ll require an account, or sign up through social media.
In every town, you can also visit an Occultist to change the Aspects or the stats of a weapon or armor. This is useful if you want to enhance your epic five-star unit or even if your four-star elite player isn’t working for you.
Another method of rerolling an item is by using the rerolling tokens that are obtained through the completion of quests. These can be bought from the Occultist at 300 gold or found in holozons that are dropped by certain dungeons. You can reroll any weapon, armor or ring by moving the icon on the page of your item with the lock to the desired slot.
Sets
A set is a group of items that are similar in a way. Sets are used every day, such as a dozen eggs or a set of friends. Sets are helpful in organizing things and utilizing operations such as intersection, union and difference to manage them effectively. Sets can be utilized in a variety of ways, such as organizing the music on a playlist or dividing students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game, Sets are used to create special effects when players wear pieces from a particular armor set. These bonuses, known as Set Bonuses, are comparable to and sometimes superior to Effects. While it is not explained in the universe why armor sets need to be worn together to create these additional effects, they do give an interesting change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses are found in many places around Hyrule including the Dark Moon Temple and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are a part of each piece of equipment that is part of the Set. You can determine which ones these are by hovering over the item and then looking at the tooltip at the bottom. The Set Bonuses will show in an orange box.
Certain of these Set Bonuses are exclusive to a specific piece of equipment. For example, if you equip the full Phantom Armor set you will get +8 defense (compared to the usual +3 defense included in the majority of gear). Other sets are available only through certain quests or buying them through the Auction House.
It is possible to get Set Bonuses for several pieces of equipment at the same time. If you have the entire Kestra’s Descent Set and the matching parts of Twinblade of Shadow, you will receive the + version of the set’s bonus, if you match them.
Set Bonuses remain the same, regardless of the equipment to which they are connected is upgraded. If an item is exemplarized too low, then the set bonus will not be effective.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are special effects that can be found on an item set and grant players a boost in battle. They provide a certain amount of a specific type of stat, for example damage to weapons, defenses, or even resistances. They cannot stack however, only one of them will be active at any given time. The amount of an attribute is determined by the number of pieces in the set. For instance, you can have three weapons and four chests however only one of them will be beneficial.
They typically enhance the primary stat however, they can boost secondary stats as well. Defense bonuses boost three defensive positions and two types of defenses such as, for instance a complete five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to around 400 defence in your gear. This is a significant boost in your gear for melee.
This is an extremely useful feature, and it seems to be one of the more popular in the game. At present, only a handful of sets of gear have set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect this number to increase once the update is live. The bonus will be added to the 7 school specific Dragoons gear, as an example.
While Set Bonuses don’t stack within sets, they do stack between sets. This is great for players who wish to combine sets in the most efficient way. However, it does require a bit of planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an item of equipment, therefore you must be cautious when placing them.
One important thing to remember is the fact that the strength of a set bonus will not change in the event that you exemplarize more than three levels below the minimum level that is allowed for an Enhancement of that kind. Purple (Very Rare) Sets PvP sets, sets for PvP and Archetype Origin sets are exempt from this rule, and their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the level of the item’s exemplar.
