Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customised using a specialized app to save maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also adjust the suction power and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture or even stray toys. These features are crucial in my house filled with toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, is loaded with features. It’s able to mop and sweep in a single session, and it can even raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum’s maximum suction power is 6 000 pascals. This is more than any other robot vacuum we’ve test to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad when it goes from tile to laminate hardwood, carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad is capable of rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. This means you can just put it away and forget about it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank occasionally.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for about 160 minutes before it started to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I’ve test.
This is a highly well-rounded and capable product, with the only downside being the fact that it’s costly. The number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can justify the cost we recommend you check this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also includes an app-based, smart controller and powerful obstacle avoidance technology.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is among the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my tests, it performed very well throughout the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4 percent of debris from any type of floor and managed to lift hair that was long without getting caught up in. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational motion and a strong dose cleaning solution.
robot vacuum hoover docking station is the primary selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It’s multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag to collect dirt, refills the water tank to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It also comes with an in-real-time system for detecting hazards and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mops I tested. The mops of the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s premium features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant smells, the base station dustbag, water and tanks need to be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, must be replaced regularly too.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the money. If cheap robot vacuum cleaner on a smaller budget, I would suggest an easier model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best robotic mop and vacuum combination you could find but its price and ongoing maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you’re in search of a robot vacuum and mop that will remove dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet messes, then take a look at the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has an enormous battery capacity that can be used for mopping and vacuuming. It’s also fitted with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself while moving, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-cleaning to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is almost the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. While it spins the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station which is then sucked up by the tank’s heating elements, and is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard can hold a substantial amount of water, and can handle up to a half dozen mopping session before running out.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to take it out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock if you prefer to have the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you decide to opt for this feature, you’ll need to purchase the cleaning solution from Eufy, which is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your own cleaning products.
Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map out a space and moved around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a few times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock’s entry-level mop and vacuum cleaner however it has several impressive features. The dock’s multifunction allows emptying the robot’s dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is done by the dock. The mopping system can sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum’s powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is quite dense, with a wide variety of options to personalize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and clean of everything that the device maps, or you can pick particular rooms, expandable zones, or even a schedule you’ve crafted. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo did well during our tests, just as all Roborock models we’ve evaluated. Its navigation system is robust it can map rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. The ‘Normal” pathing settings cover an area well, and doesn’t leave any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech’s hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it is not as advanced as the color camera systems found on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but may not be able identify smaller objects like electrical wires and rug tassels.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. Fortunately, there’s a simple alternative: the app has an option to “clean up” at the end of each vacuuming session. This allows you to use the mopping feature of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum clean a little better than its competitors with lower prices.
