Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 – Combos That Are Easy to Use
Car seat buggy 2 in 1 combines the two most important baby equipment pieces: the infant car seat and the stroller. It makes it so much easier to get on and off public transport (and walk up and down stairs).
One of the most effective options is the Doona infant car seat and stroller combination. It’s the first integrated travel system that allows you to switch between your car seat and stroller in seconds without disturbing your sleeping baby.
Simple to use
Car seat and stroller combinations that are simple to use are a must for parents. These systems let you easily switch between running errands walking your dog and going for an outing. They also help you keep up with your little one’s changing needs, so that you can concentrate on your family adventures. These travel systems move smoothly and effortlessly, regardless of whether they feature one front wheel or two. The Thule Urban Glide 2 Combo as well as the BOB Alterrain Pro combo, and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo are easy to maneuver. But even the BOB Revolutionflex 3.0 Combo and Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo can be moved by one hand.
Certain models are difficult to attach or remove from the base, but. The Doona Combo requires a two step process of attachment, and straps which cover the bottom of the infant carrier. It’s tempting to bypass these steps, but this could lead to unsafe outcomes.
Similarly, some models are difficult to fold and put away making them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its large dimensions and bulky frame. Some users also find the canopy on this model to be disappointing. However, the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is very easy to fold using a pull of the lever and a click of a button. It is also a great option for parents who plan to use their car seat on other vehicles because it can be removed from the base and then attached to any standard stroller.
Easy to Fold
It doesn’t matter if you’re keeping the car seat on its own, in the trunk of your car or even in a closet, it must be easy to fold and unfold. The most effective combinations we’ve tested feature a simple, one-handed fold that’s compact and durable enough to be used on long strolls. They’re also easy to maneuver, gliding effortlessly over bumps and uneven surfaces. We’ve seen a few combinations that can only be joined or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it more difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
We love the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo due to its practical features and sturdy construction, that include a huge storage basket that’s accessible from the front to the back. Its exclusive SafeCenter LATCH makes it easy to achieve a secure car seat installation by connecting the lower anchors by pulling the straps tightly and then pressing the carrier into the base.
It’s also quite light and compact, making it an excellent option for frequent travellers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored very well in our tests of ease-of-use. Both have one wheel that’s easy to push with one hand. 2 in 1 pram pushchair have one front wheel that is easy to push (one-handed!). They also come with a versatile swing wheel, which is ideal for shopping or running errands. The only downside is that they’re heavy and may be difficult to lift when carrying a child in car seats.
Easy to Assemble
Some stroller and car seat combinations can be difficult to put together. The UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo is one of the easiest travel systems to put together. It even comes with a handy guide. Other models we looked at like the UPPAbaby Minu, UPPAbaby Vista v2, Thule Urban Glide 2, and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also simple to put together. However the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps to assemble – connecting the lower anchors and using straps to cover the bottom of the carrier. It’s also very heavy, which means it takes two hands to click the carrier into the base and detach it from the base.
In our tests, we took just 5 minutes to put together the UPPAbaby v2 Cruz. It’s a fairly easy procedure when you take into account the time saved from not having to rip out each piece. The toddler seat can be slid into and removed with ease on most of these models.
